Biochar-integrated urea fertilizer
Advanced carbon-enhanced granulation technology.
Standard urea releases nitrogen quickly. Rain and heat can carry much of it away before crops absorb it. Farmers pay for the fertilizer and the shortfall in yield.
Repeated conventional urea use can acidify soil and reduce microbial activity, creating a cycle of diminishing returns season after season.
Standard urea adds nitrogen but does nothing for soil carbon. It is a missed opportunity to build resilience against drought and climate variability.
BIOCORE™ 46 is built to address all three.
Biochar granules hold nitrogen in the root zone and release it as crops need it.
Biochar's porous structure captures urea nitrogen and holds it in the soil. Release is triggered by root activity and moisture, not rain or heat.
BIOCORE™ 46 is formulated to release nitrogen more gradually than standard urea, feeding crops steadily across the growing season.
Each bag introduces biochar carbon into the soil, where it stays, improving soil structure across multiple growing seasons.
BIOCORE™ 46 is engineered around a technology category with a growing body of independent, peer-reviewed evidence. A 2026 field study on biochar-coated slow-release urea in wheat production reported:
More than double the 24.7% NUE measured for conventional urea in the same field trial.
Cumulative nitrogen release calibrated to crop demand, meeting EN 13266:2001 and ISO 19670:2017 slow-release thresholds.
Increase versus uncoated urea, alongside an 18.4% gain in cation exchange capacity.
Life-cycle assessment showed a lower footprint across most impact categories, including air quality and water eutrophication.

The biochar in BIOCORE™ 46 is produced from agricultural and municipal waste streams, such as crop residue, that would otherwise be burned in the open or left to decompose. Converting that waste into biochar keeps carbon out of the atmosphere instead of releasing it, and diverts material away from landfill and open burning.
Waste diverted from open burning and landfill
Avoids the methane and emissions of unmanaged decomposition
Additional carbon outcome beyond business as usual

More nitrogen reaches your crops. Less fertilizer needed per season.
Biochar holds moisture in the root zone. Crops handle dry spells better.
Biochar feeds soil microbes and improves structure over multiple seasons.
Slower release means less nitrogen lost to leaching and evaporation.
Biochar carbon stays in your soil, supporting long-term climate resilience.
BIOCORE™ 46 is formulated to reduce the volume of standard urea needed to hit the same nitrogen target per season.
50kg net weight. 46% total nitrogen. Premium granulated formulation.
For agricultural use only. Store in a cool, dry place. Made in Nigeria.
